As part of the Active Bolton family, Westhoughton provides access to a wide range of facilities and activities for the whole community. Whether you’re looking to get fit, learn a new sport, or simply enjoy some leisure time, we have something for everyone.
We offer an excellent range of facilities suitable for all ages abilities, fitness levels and health journeys.
They include a fully air-conditioned gym, a 25m swimming pool, a teaching pool and a versatile sports hall.
The centre also offers two glass-back squash courts suitable for both squash and racquet ball, as well as an outdoor 3G football pitch.

Our group exercise classes range from Aqua Fit and LBT to Body Conditioning, Boot Camp, and FITIN30. Choose a class to suit you!
We are committed to making our venues accessible and welcoming to everyone, with adapted equipment, inclusive sessions, and trained staff on hand to help.
