We offer an excellent range of facilities suitable for all ages abilities, fitness levels and health journeys.

They include a fully air-conditioned, well-equipped gym, a workout area where we host a variety of workout classes and a 25m by 18m swimming pool with a boom in the middle.

You can also enjoy a relaxing visit to our sauna and steam room to unwind and recover after a workout.

Our gym facilities 

Our fully air-conditioned gym comes equipped with the latest cardio, resistance and free weights equipment. We have:

• 12 treadmills
• 4 cross trainers
• 2 octanes
• 5 rowers
• 11 exercise bikes
• 2 PowerMills
• Cable machines 

Our fantastic 25m by 18m swimming pool is perfect for lane swimming, family splash sessions and aqua classes. We have swimming lessons for children and adults that cover the complete basics through to improving strokes and advanced techniques. 

We run a range of classes each week – from Stretch & Tone and Zumba to Body Conditioning, Circuits, and Core Blast – there’s something for everyone!

Active Bolton has facilities and activities for everyone – and the same applies to our range of memberships. Choose from flexible monthly direct debit plans, with no contracts or joining fees, or pay-as-you-go options. 

We are committed to making our venues accessible and welcoming to everyone, with adapted equipment, inclusive sessions, and trained staff on hand to help. Sir Jason Kenny Centre has:

Accessible parking bays at the front of the building (maximum stay 2 hours). There is no other onsite parking although a nearby NCP is available (fee payable).

To support our visitors with additional needs, we’re operating quieter hours every Monday from 12 noon until 1pm. During this time, our gym will have dimmed lighting, and all music will be turned off.
