Why Bolton Arena Tennis Academy?

Our philosophy of OWNIT, combined with our multi-disciplinary approach to developing an athlete, is something we drive and deliver day in and out. The whole team believe that Ownership, Work Ethic, No Excuses, Inner Determination and Team Work are what’s required to make a future in the game, and we all strive each day to demonstrate and improve in each area.

Our structure is built around a foundation of individualised programming to suit the players’ pathway to a National Academy and NAGP. We work to build the right team around the player so they can maximise their potential.

The team is always visible at the key events and helps the players cope with the demands of competing. The coach support package is part of the agreement we have with the players on the RPDC programme. This extends to international events for those players at the level.

We have sports scholarships linked to the ‘Elite Athlete Programme’ with Bolton School – Independent School of the Year, 2018. This allows the players on the regional pathway to maintain a high level of education, yet access daytime training to maximise the players’ weekly programme.
