Our leagues include all formats of the beautiful game. Whether you are looking to get stuck in yourself, or wanting a league for your child - we have a range of options ready for you to sign up to.

If you like your football with a competitive edge, we host all formats of the game catering for youth (14 to 18 yrs), men’s and women’s leagues. All leagues refereed by F.A. qualified officials. Pricing varies for the type of league, we also offer a great student discount!
Leagues at Bolton Arena
Enjoy Leagues at Bolton Arena, our flagship venue at Arena Approach.
Adult 9-a-side – join for £55 per game Wednesday or Thursday
Business – join for £25 per game TBC
Youth – join for £21 per game TBC League matches last 50 minutes, and the season runs for 21 weeks. We endeavour to provide teams with a league match every week. In the event of cancellations or postponements, our league co-ordinator will provide the option of a friendly match. Youth 5-A-Side League
This League is Lancashire FA affiliated, with fully qualified referees officiating weekly fixtures.
This league offers a pathway to build players’ experience before progressing into our Adult Leagues.
Our Friday night football league (6pm – 8pm) offer players a youth style environment with a designated League Co-ordinator monitoring the games.
The programme also offers a pathway to build players’ experience before having the opportunity to progress into our Adult Leagues.

Business 5-A-side League
Create a company football team and join our popular after-work Business League. With this unique league, teams can choose as and when they play thus taking away the weekly pressure of trying to raise a side.
Fixtures kick off at 17:45 and some of the league benefits are, promotes well-being, team bonding and also an informal way to network and grow your business.
What a perfect way to end the working day by playing a game of 5-A-Side with colleagues and business peers.
This league also allows a team to invite friends and family to play should your team be short of players for a fixture.

Price: £25 per match
Match length: 40 minute matches
Pitch size: 36m x 20m
Surface: 4G with 4 yard boxed goal areas

9 & 11-A-Side Leagues
The unique Arena 11’s league ‘social’ league completely takes away the pressure of finding 15 players every week as our teams play once every 4-5 weeks.
Matches are played during the evening on our full size floodlit grass pitch. The season commences September and runs through to June. During the winter months when grass pitch matches can be postponed, the league takes to one of the 4G pitches for a 9 v 9 programme. A summer tournament programme is also available.
Teams complete a registration form allowing you to sign on as many as twenty players. Typical 11-A-Side rules apply except that this league also has a Sin Bin as part of our Code of Conduct.
When fixtures are played on the 9v9 pitch certain rules are amended i.e. no sliding tackles on the 4G. Team Managers are provided with a copy of the league rules.

11-A-Side Residency
Make Bolton Arena Sports Village your team’s home and we’ll take away the pressure of all the pre-match preparations, such as pitch marking, goalpost assembly, netting, and flags. Our exclusive 11-a-side residency means all this is supplied for you, along with home and away dressing rooms and ample car parking. A youth team residency is £71.25 per fixture, while an adult team residency is £95 per fixture.

One free trial match per team. Contact details must be provided. The free trial match cannot be used by persons aged under 13 or living further than 25 miles from Bolton Arena Sports Village. The free trial match cannot be exchanged, and no cash alte ative is available. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to stop this promotion at any time. Bolton Arena Sports Village is committed to protecting your privacy and promises not to share any personal information you provide with any third parties or otherwise disclose any personal data. The free trial match must be booked in advance by speaking to our football team, who will contact you on receipt of your request. Match times are subject. to availability.
