The day was simply brilliant.

You can’t beat a lazy Sunday morning… well, actually, you can, and we did.

From the moment participants arrived, there was an incredible atmosphere filled with laughter, whistles, bright sunglasses and colourful clouds of powder paint.

One of the highlights had to be throwing dry paint over the runners and walkers as they made their way around the course.

Watching families, friends and colleagues giggling, dancing and encouraging one another was such a tonic and a wonderful reminder of the power of community.

Events like this bring people together, create lasting memories and raise vital funds for local causes, all whilst having tremendous fun.

We were absolutely honoured to be chosen as the beneficiary charity for this year’s event and loved every minute of being involved.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered and supported the event. We would also like to thank the entire Active Bolton team for organising such a fantastic morning and for choosing The Bereavement Café as this year’s beneficiary.

It was colourful, uplifting and full of smiles from start to finish.
